If you are planning an adult stay at the Ocean Riviera Paradise hotel El Beso don’t do it! You will definitely not be at an adult only hotel.
Hi guys my name is Corey Lanier and I recently stayed at the ocean riviera paradise hotel with me and my girlfriend and a group of adult friends who came out to party and vacation.
We all looked into hotels that offer adult only stays. The ocean riviera paradise hotel claimed that they had an adult only side of the hotel. But here’s the truth. The truth is that the only area that kids are not supposed to have access to is the actual rooms area. And when I say no access I mean they are not allowed to walk into very visible area from the rest of the hotel. The only thing separating the adults only area from a kids splash playground area is a tall hedge.
The hedge isn’t even a full thick hedge blocking view. There are plenty of crack and spaces between branches to look through and see what’s going on on the other side. While walking past El Beso you can clearly see everyone on the other side. It’s not even that big of area compared to all of the other kid friendly parts of the resort which are everywhere but your el best rooms.
Me and my girlfriend Taja stayed on the 4th floor with a rooftop balcony. When we first got to our room we had it in mind to hang out up there and enjoy the view. But our romantic moment was quickly crushed when we realized our view was of children playing on a water slide who could Clearly see us just as good as we could see them.
Our friends who stayed here also had their fair share of disappointments. One girl felt uncomfortable wearing a bathing suit like she had planned to because of the fear of looking inappropriate in front of kids. Just like her the rest of the ladies on the trip with us all said they didn’t have any appropriate clothes to wear now that they know how much they would be coming in contact with kids.
When you’re staying at El Beso you have to come in contact with kids no matter what you do. If you want to eat or go to the beach you’re going to have to travel down the same path way all of the families travel to get there. Once again the only separation is the hedge at el best. Once you walk past the hedge you are most like going to be walking next to a 5 year old is who staring at you up and down for the entire 5 min walk to the buffet.
Long story short ocean riviera playa del carmen el best is not for adults. It’s for families. On the last morning I before it was time to check out of the Resort I saw a lady bringing a littler girl with her in the El Beso elevator as I was getting off. It clearly looked like she was sneaking her in to her room. She probably booked the adult side of the hotel because the rest of everything else was sold out. I tried to get a picture of them but my phone was freezing up from me trying to open the camera feature too fast.
All in all if you are looking to party with adults and vacation like an adult in Playa del carmen don’t book ocean riviera paradise playa del carmen. You will be highly disappointed.
