Pirate Ships Really Still Exist in Texas

Hey guys, today I found a hidden gym in Galveston, TX. So there I was searching on Google for things to do in Galveston when I came across a listing for a Tall Ship that's still in operation from 1877. The pictures and videos that I found online made me curious enough to out this one on my to do list. Today I finally got a chance to go check it out.

To get on the ship it's just $10 person. You have access to the top and bottom levels. There's also no time limit to view the ship. I was able to take all the time I needed to take pictures and video. There was a crew on board making updates to the sails. Apparently the ship still sails out to sea in the fall months.

As soon as I got on the ship I was struck with nostalgia. It almost felt like I was instantly taken back to 1877. I mean I clearly have no idea what that would be like but I imagine the ship isn't too far from my ideas. There were ropes and pulleys everywhere. I felt like I was on a boat that could easily be filmed in pirates of the Caribbean.
